La creacion

Dios es el autor de todo lo que vemos.
God is the author of everything we see.
En el principio creo' el cielo y la tierra, separo' la luz de las tinieblas, e' hizo el firmamento;
y separo' las aguas que estaban debajo del firmamento, de las aguas que estaban  sobre el firmamento. Despues creo' el sol y la luna, los planetas y los animales, y por fin al hombre y a ' la muger. Nadie viviria sin el aire y el agua. El dia es hijo del sol; y durante la noche vemos la luna y las estrellas.
On the first day he created the sky and the earth, separated the light from the darkness, made the firmament and separated the water below the firmament, and  of the water which were above the firmament. After this, he created the sun and the moon, the planets and animals and finally he made man and woman. They lived without air and water. In the day, there was the son and during the night we see the moon and the stars.

The stones grow in the earth, without roots: the plants grow also above the earth, but they have roots, trunk, stem, branches and leaves, they produce flowers, fruit and seed. The fishes swim in the water; the birds fly in the air, the reptiles crawl, and all the animals that have four feet live above the earth and some of them are very light. That ends this translation exercise.. I found it difficult to start with but once I got the grip of was it was trying to convey and using google translate, I have finished this translation.. What about a picture depicting this? Once I start telling my daughter stories from her story books, I cannot stop myself admiring the artistic work and I wonder when I will be able to produce work like that.. Then I think I have to practise and then again, I have to spend time and Time is premium.. I know I will do it one day, when I become impulsive and say I will do it today no matter what and I am just waiting for that moment.. happy learning!!

A translation exercise in spanish - The school walk.

La salida de escuela   - The school Walk(not sure about the translation)

Estamos en la primavera. La primavera es una de las cuatro estaciones del ano.
We are in the spring. The spring is one of the four seasons of the year.
En esta estacion los dias son tan largos como las noches. Parte del mes de marzo, los meses

That was really a long lesson. I started doing it yesterday night and was sleeping half way through and then decided to complete this now and it took more than half an hour with the typing and google translate for words I don't know..

Chrome settings in spanish

I don't know why, once my chrome settings changed to some unknown language. Well, actually I was fiddling with the settings as chrome was not displaying text in hindi.. Maybe I had uninstalled something and then I had a problem, after making some changes all the menu started appearing in boxes.. so I could hardly do anything. Then I had an idea, I opened IE and then saw how to change the settings in chrome and then instead of reverting back to English, I put the languages settings to spanish. This was one way for me to learn some new spanish words. So just have a look at this..

The first word is back - Atras, then cargar de nuevo - reload, guardar como.. - save as. imprimir - print, traducir a espanol - translate to spanish, ver codigo fuente de pagina - view the code for the page, ver informaction de la pagina - view info for the page, inspeccionar elemento - inspect elements.. 

First one is abrir - open , enlace - link en una pestana nueva - open link in a new tab. abrir enlace en una ventana nueva - open link in a new window. abrir el enlace en una ventana de navegacion de incognito - open link in a incognito window, guardar enlace como - save link as, copiar direccion de enlace - copy url of link... etc
so other words esperando - waiting, solicitud - request etc etc..
So my spanish journey continues with the browser settings in spanish language.. so now I know for certain abrir is to open and esperando is waiting..
Also, the fact remains, still I am not able to view hindi font in chrome.. any suggestions??

I wanted to translate some of the phrases I have written and used google translate for the same..
I typed Han visito a Luis and it found the language as Italian and then translated it to have seen Luis and then changed the language to spanish and it was the same.
So han visto a Luis is - They have visited Luis in both Italian and Spanish.

so some words in spanish to start with
sirvir - to serve
indicar - to indicate
Los numeros ordinales sirven para indicar el orden en que estan colocadas las cosas.
The ordinal numbers serve to indicate the order of things in a collection. (It is my own translation. I have not cross checked with dictionary or google.. just trying my understanding of spanish).
Los numeros ordinales desde primero hasta decimo son: primero, segundo, tercero, cuarto, quinto, sexto, septimo, octavo, noveno o nono, decimo. Despues de decimo no se usan frecuentemente los numeros ordinales en espanol. Se usan los cardinales.
